MY FIRST CONTACT WITH HORSES:
For generations our entire family has been closely involved in horse breeding. It was therefore only natural that I had my first encounter with horses when I was just a few days old.
WHAT FASCINATES ME ABOUT SHOW-JUMPING:
What fascinates me about show jumping is the perfect interplay between human and animal. Achieving success requires not only absolute harmony and trust between horse and rider, but also impeccable horse management, horsemanship, and above all a bit of luck. No two days are the same, and that is precisely what makes this sport exciting, day in and day out.
MY BEST EQUESTRIAN MOMENT SO FAR:
The moment I met my long-time partner Josef Göllner the first time and began working with him. Together, we were able to make a significant impact on the Austrian and international equestrian sport and breeding scene.
MY WORST EQUESTRIAN MOMENT SO FAR:
The day that Josef Göllner, a long-time partner and friend, passed away unexpectedly.
WHAT DOES THE KES YOUTH TEAM MEAN TO ME:
The KES Youth Team gives me the opportunity to once again engage in national and international competitive equestrian sports, as a trainer, horse-owner, and event manager. I find great joy in working with ambitious young riders, supporting their development, and training young horses alongside them.
